Position Overview

The Production Support Team is the central point of contact between external clients/partners and internal organizations for support of our proprietary platforms and applications. A Production Support Intern must investigate escalations from various internal and external resources, applications, systems and UI's.  Determine the source and criticality of the issues and engage Tier III or other resources as needed and within our agreed upon Service Level Agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor System Health and report issues.
  • Manage the escalated production issue tickets and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Identify critical issues in order to engage and coordinate appropriate internal or external support teams during critical business impacting issues.
  • Distribute timely notification and updates of issues as required.
  • Transfer more complex issues to the Production Support Team.                  
  • Cross reference tickets across multiple ticket systems.
  • Collaborate with External Support Centers required with the ability to solicit relevant information in order to sufficiently investigate.
  • Work with clients and internal teams to reproduce reoccurring issues and escalate appropriately.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

  • Experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio).
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must have the ability to be flexible to a changing environment.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to write basic scripts is helpful, but not required.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma, some College preferred. 2 years of experience in Customer Service, call center or QA is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette demonstrating appropriate professionalism, interpersonal/verbal skills, clear dictation, and knowledge/use of correct grammar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
