Executive Office Coordinator

|Work Hours:||8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.|
Duties: To perform and coordinate a variety of daily activities for the Department Director, to participate in the department's administrative process to supervise assign, review and/or assist in the work staff involved in providing clerical and secretarial support to department division prepare maintain and update various records and files, compose, prepare and review a variety of memos.
Qualifications: Eight(8) years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience. Equivalent ot completion of twelth(12th) grade supplemented by college level course work in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance or a related field.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT FOR CITY EMPLOYEES:
Within six (6) months from date of employment, must establish residence within the City of Jackson.
PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT, APPLICANT RECOMMENDED FOR EMPLOYMENT SHALL BE REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A URINALYSIS AND/OR BLOOD TEST TO SCREEN FOR ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG ABUSE.
