Description

Duties: Oversee use of facility by opening and closing the facility for reservations and events. Enforce rules and regulations. Plan and conduct structural recreational activities. Participate in special events and programs with other departments. Coordinate and participate in program planning sessions with other site staff to develop activities and lessons.

 

Qualifications:  One (1) to two (2) years of experience in recreation program planning and administration. Completion of the twelfth (12th) grade. Possession of a valid MS Driver's License.

 

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT FOR CITY EMPLOYEES:

Within six (6) months from date of employment, must establish residence within the City of Jackson.

PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT, APPLICANT RECOMMENDED FOR EMPLOYMENT SHALL BE REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A URINALYSIS AND/OR BLOOD TEST TO SCREEN FOR ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG ABUSE.
