DAI Brussels is currently preparing for the forthcoming EU project Support to civil society participation in the implementation of EU trade agreement” which we expect to begin in late 2018. DAI Brussels is a leading development company with an extensive EU and business environment portfolios. DAI Brussels is part of DAI Global which is based in Washington DC. DAI has extensive experience in trade and enabling business environment related topics in different countries in Africa and Asia.

The main objective of the new EU project is to develop, in the framework of the implementation of EU trade agreements, efficient support to civil society mechanisms established under these agreements in order to maintain and increase participation of both the European and partner countries' civil society in the implementation of the agreements, in particular with regard to their provisions on trade and sustainable development, covering in particular links between trade and environment and trade and labour rights.

DAI is currently recruiting Brussels-based Event organiser(s) to support one of the purposes of the project which is the organisation of meetings and workshops. The candidate will be responsible for all tasks related to event management aspects, including but not limited to flights booking, hiring rooms and catering, organizing facilities, facilitation translation and interpretation services. The candidate will report to DAI Project Director and supported by a DAI Technical Director staff.

The candidate will need to demonstrate extensive experience in event organisation both in Brussels and internationally, being familiar with EU procedures and working level language of English, French and/or Spanish. Russian language skills would be an asset.
