Function of the Position:
This is a professional position on the business development team of DAI’s Global Health business unit. The position will be based in Bethesda, Maryland . The New Business Associate/Specialist plays an integral part in developing proposals for health systems strengthening, health security and digital health projects. DAI’s main clients are the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and other US government agencies. Primary responsibilities (further explained below) include working with the Vice President to coordinate proposal development, support proposal recruitment, conduct research and analysis on relevant issues (including through in-country fact-finding travel), support budgeting and logistics for business development initiatives. This position is most appropriate for someone who likes a fast-paced work environment, teamwork, and developing diverse responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibilities

Grade 6: 3 years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree; or 1 year professional experience and a master’s degree.
Grade 7: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree; or 2 years of professional experience and a master’s degree
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
