Dispensary Nurse (RN or LPN)

 

Monday - Friday, 2 Saturdays per month, Sundays Off

5:00AM - 1:30PM

Paid Holidays Off

New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, 4th of July and 1 Personal Floating Holiday

Job Functions Include:

  • Dispense appropriate methadone doses, in accordance with clinic procedures
  • Record all doses dispensed and account for all methadone used during a dispensary shift
  • Accurately record patient details in the electronic medical records system
  • Organize and monitor the activities of the dispensary technician as requested by the lead dispensary technician or dispensary manager
  • Monitor charts for dose discrepancies and take corrective action when needed
  • Monitor tuberculosis testing for all patients and assigned units, including making outside referrals when appropriate

Required:

  • Current Washington State RN or LPN License
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred:

  • Medical-surgical experience 
  • Experience with drug abuse treatment
  • Experience in the behavioral sciences
  • Experience with drug abuse treatment
