About the Position

The Client Services & Administrative Support Coordinator position is central to the creation and daily maintenance of a warm, inviting environment for the purpose of engaging the clients REACH serves. This position includes a blend of administrative tasks and functions that support REACH staff to carry out client services along with some direct client engagement and support in the REACH milieu.

This position requires the ability to consistently set limits in a respectful manner to ensure a safe and hospitable environment for all. It requires excellent awareness of interpersonal interactions and the ability to manage client flow in the REACH office space. De-escalation skills and the ability to prevent conflicts by proactively intervening when people exhibit challenging behaviors associated with intoxication or other behavioral health conditions are required. This position requires excellent administrative abilities, attention to detail and regular multi-tasking as well as the ability to develop systems to maintain the client flow and safety in the milieu.

The Client Services & Administrative Support Coordinator (CSASC) ensures the success of all REACH services, groups, and activities within the milieu space.  The CSASC takes a leadership role in providing hospitality, maintaining order and office flow and connecting clients to case managers by helping to create a safe, hospitable, and welcoming environment for all clients in the REACH space.


Client Services and Administrative Support Coordinator Job Summary:

  • Develop rapport and trusting relationships with clients through respectful, client-centered engagement practices.

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of community resources and provide information and referral services in the milieu.

  • Support all REACH staff in utilizing healing-focused, trauma-informed care approaches in the milieu

  • Collaborate with Case Managers to set up self-care plans for all REACH clients

  • Keep the community bulletin board up to date

  • Record costs and budget for future activities

  • Develop & implement systems to support clients in the milieu space with behavioral issues

  • Manage staff keys and alarms, staff apparel ordering, and office supply ordering

  •  Coffee-making and associated supply replenishment

  • Cleaning tasks to maintain relative cleanliness of space (not heavy janitorial)

  • Bathroom Checks as needed to ensure client safety and restroom cleanliness



  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience relating to social work or outreach

  • Working knowledge and understanding of harm reduction



  • Undergraduate degree or training in substance use disorders and/or mental health treatment

  • Experience providing services from a harm reduction perspective
