General Summary of Job Duties

The front of house restaurant Supervisor's primary job responsibilities include training, supervising, and developing all dining area personnel in order to offer superior customer service and quality food product during assigned shifts.  This will be done in a safe, clean, and controlled environment. Must be 21 years of age.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. Mission Statement and F.A.S.T. Track Values Statement.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
  • Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
  • Oversee all dining area and restaurant operations and functions
  • Ensure service excellence by fostering a positive guest experience and proactively addressing customer concerns
  • Ensure proper product quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Maintain all sanitation and health department requirements
  • Assist in all dining room personnel hiring and training
  • Implement proper chain of command leadership
  • Assist in maintaining and guiding all dining area personnel training, records, scheduling, development, and discipline for assigned shifts
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Management.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Employees, and Vendors.
  • Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
  • Regular attendance and arriving on-time to all scheduled shifts and meetings is considered an essential function of the job.
  • Other duties as assigned.
