General Summary of Job Duties

To provide food and beverage service to our guests in the Restaurant ensuring a quality dining experience each and every time they join us.

 Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. Mission Statement and F.A.S.T. Track Values Statement.
  • Responsible for preparing the Restaurant for business prior to opening on a daily basis. 
  • Submitting accurate and legible food orders to the kitchen. 
  • Promptly delivering food and drink orders to the appropriate customer. 
  • Performing closing and stocking duties at close of restaurant business on a daily basis. 
  • Providing excellent customer service to all patrons on an ongoing basis. 
  • Knowing and following applicable Company safety regulations.
  • Knowing and Implementing monthly marketing promotions that may effect restaurant operation. 
  • Order entry on P.O.S. system.

Busser Responsibilities: Clearing table of used dishes and utensils and resetting tables correctly

  • Restocking silverware, glasses, placemats and napkins, refilling ice bins in wait stations and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Removing trash from wait stations
  • Transporting used linen to pick up area.
  • Complying with the following;  Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
  • Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Management.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Employees, and Vendors.
  • Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
  • Regular attendance and arriving on-time to all scheduled shifts and meetings is considered an essential function of the job.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi task.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience.
  • Restaurant experience preferred
