As a member of the Enterprise Applications team, the Database Administrator (DBA)/Developer will work with the existing database administrator, the Application Development team, and business stakeholders to plan, design, and deliver software solutions for the business.
The DBA must be familiar with database design concepts, methods for creating highly available environments, industry standards for security and integrity, options for integrating onsite and hosted data sources, tools for monitoring and tuning database instances, and programming techniques for writing efficient queries. In addition, the DBA must be able to effectively establish and document requirements, track and report on projects, publish technical documentation of solutions, and research and understand best practices and regulatory obligations.
The right candidate will ideally have past hands-on experience administering MS SQL databases running in a public cloud environment such as AWS or MS Azure.

Educations and/or Experience:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems and make appropriate judgment calls to insure the correct outcome.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in SQL, T-SQL. Understanding and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, ASP and .Net required.
