Position: Sr. Business Analyst, Oracle ERP

Duties: Draw on project management experience and skills with Oracle Applications Implementation Methodology, Oracle Service Contracts R12 module, Oracle Inventory, Oracle Order Management, Oracle Purchasing, Oracle Advanced Pricing, Oracle Installed Base, Trading Community Architecture modules, Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL and Web Services to architect functional designs leveraging industry standard processes and Oracle ERP R12 functionality. Understand business requirements & requisite processes to enable translation to software requirements. Demonstrate and influence business partners to leverage industry standard processes and out-of-the-box configuration capabilities in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 to satisfy business needs. Recommend and implement best practices around pricing and order management and understand the current Configure, Price, Quote, Order Entry/Management and fulfillment processes. Proactively elicit requirements utilizing experience in enterprise-wide requirements definition & management systems/methodologies (such as interviews, document analysis, task & workflow analysis etc.) while critically evaluating information gathered to reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Use Oracle Meta link to search for solutions and open service requests when needed. Coordinate functional activities with Oracle Support. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external & internal customers to analyze & document information needs & functional requirements, as well as deliver accurate & detailed artifacts as needed (such as functional requirements / Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, Interface Guides, Functional Specification Documents, GUI, Screen & Interface designs for Oracle EBS & reporting tools). Work independently with finance team members, subject matter experts and end users to define concepts and demonstrate Oracle EBS R12 functionality. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives / program areas simultaneously. Work across hard reporting lines. Build effective team relationships.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Management or a related field plus ten years of experience in business technology solution delivery with focus of financials areas reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above including five years in functional role.
