The City of Fort Worth Municipal Court is seeking a qualified candidate to supervise, assign, review and participate in the work of employees responsible for performing a variety of clerical, administrative and financial duties in support of the Municipal Court; to ensure work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Customer Service Supervisor job duties include the following:
Manage, oversee and coordinate specific sections of the Municipal Court department
Simuultaneously manage a wide range of projects
Monitor and evaluate the quality, responsiveness, efficiency and effectiveness of court staff
Responsible for heavy telephone and direct public contact to resolve customer issues
Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external customers as well as other city department personnel
Possess excellent time management/organizational skills
The Municipal Court operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week, this includes weekends and holidays. The incumbent must commit to the possibility of working any shift within a 24 hour period, any day of the week, as needed. This position may also involve local travel between Municipal Court facilities within Fort Worth.

Minimum job requirements include:
A HS Diploma/GED - An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the position may qualify.
At least four years of responsible customer service experience within the area of assignment, including one year of administrative and/or lead supervisory experience.
Valid Driver’s License
Must be able to pass a CJIS fingerprint background check
Preference may be given to applicants that possess the following:
Higher levels of education, experience and certifications as related to the position
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Extensive experience as a supervisor in assigning work, addressing personnel issues, guiding and directing a diverse staff
Municipal Court experience
Court Clerk Certification(s)
Candidates who do not meet the Education requirement, may be considered if they have more relevant work experience than the position requires. Those selected for employment will be required to pass Pre-Employment checks depending on the position requirements. Those could include, but are not limited to: criminal background check, drug screen, education verification, etc. Criminal convictions will be considered on a case by case basis.
