  • A well-established US Manufacturing MNC.
  • As an independent contributor, will be responsible for various aspects of Accounting functions including margin and expenses reviews, transfer price monitoring and financial reporting in a complex and fast-paced environment, across Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
  • Preparation of Monthly Financial Variance Analysis Reports.
  • Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes in all areas of Finance and Accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies.
  • Analyze the effect of statutory accounting practices and studies regulations and guidance to ensure correct application of IFRS and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Lead and drive monthly Asia Financial Review.
  • Lead annual audit and quarter reviews by the internal/external auditors including preparation of supporting schedules and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the maintenance of internal control ensuring accurate presentation of financial statements and safeguarding company assets.
  • Other duties/special projects as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 10 years of Accounting/Finance experience preferably in Audit and MNC Environment with proficiency in Local GAAP and IFRS.
  • CPA is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing and driving month end close process.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Prior experience in SAP is a must.
  • Highly detail oriented and organized in work.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies.
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, bilingual in Mandarin as to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in driving projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice would be prioritized.

Other Information:​

  • Reporting to the Finance Director.
  • Working Location: Ang Mo Kio.
  • Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am - 5.30pm.
