Assist Food Safety Manager to ensure conformance to company and NSF requirements, HACCP standards and Group QA and Food Safety Initiatives.
Keep abreast of food safety regulations and provide regular updates to the Operations Team and ensure that all changes are evaluated and approved prior to implementation. Take corrective action if required
Carry out food safety briefing and training and conduct store hygiene audits to ensure that our stores adhere to established policies and processes.
Compilation of food safety audit reports and align with external audit.
Manage food safety related complaints and co-ordinate investigations and risk assessment efforts.
Liaise with different suppliers regards training and investigative matters
Arrange ad hoc product testing and compilations of microbiology reports
Build strong partnership with key suppliers to foster the implementation of best practices and training for continuous improvement.
A recognized Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years’ work experience in Food Safety
Possess good knowledge of HACCP and NEA regulations.
