Financial: Achieves/exceeds bookings, sales and profitability targets set. Provide accurate and punctual forecasting reports on a monthly basis, to support achieving the business goals.
Project Pursuit/New Business Development: Active participation in project pursuit, working with LBP’s where necessary. Drives business growth through new Solutions/Exploring Engineering System opportunities.
Price Management: Full accountability for price management of assigned product lines. Manage the KOB mix and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Adhere to division discount authorization.
Country-by-Country Development: Development of country plans which embodies target project list, plans for core market share growth, achievable plans for penetration of new technology, marketing and training plans. Work with LBP’s/HP Channel and leads them to develop business in base/new markets.
Leadership: Develops and improves the sales organizations by identifying development needs and closing those needs, e.g. through training, provision of tools and coaching etc.
Marketing: Works with Division marketing to plan and implement promotional seminars and head up tradeshows, such as PWOC. Provide feedback and market input to the marketing team on competitive price situation and competitions’ positions. Advancement of division market strategies.
Customer Satisfaction: Works with division by providing accurate forecast and clean orders, work with division service support to ensure customer service requests are being attended.
Account Management: Works closely with other division sales to manage key account business; to grow the business by identifying, selecting and developing potential local accounts; to work with global team in managing multinational accounts.
Innovation: Thinks out of the Box to achieve sales objectives and growth. Has a strategic bent of mind to capture potential opportunities for both Industrial and High pressure business.
Degree in Engineering and 10 to 12 years’ sales experience in the process industry.
Strong analytical and questioning skills coupled with ability to develop and implement strategies.
Good business knowledge.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially influencing skills.
Strong organizational, prioritization and planning skills.
Experience in applying a coaching approach to management.
Has a ‘Hunters’ mind set.
