Job Summary:

A client facing position that requires building relationships with customers to ensure the organization’s products and services are delivered successfully to be client’s top partner. This includes working directly with channel partners and customer to drive successful implementation of product & services as well generate new business opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans, initiatives, close orders and meet annual booking target for the organization
  • Conduct routine customer visits, build strong relationships, identify new opportunities and understand customer’s need
  • Drive daily direct channel development and key account management activities
  • Hold technical presentations to promote organizations’ product offerings
  • Gather market intelligence to drive improvement in sales strategies to ensure market competitiveness
  • Work with inside sales team in preparation of sales proposal by providing insights on client’s buying criteria, market dynamics, market pricing and strategy
  • Clearly communicates the resolution of clients’ issues to inside sales team
  • Conducts commercial negotiations and long-term price arrangements
  • Budget management

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-7 years related experience in selling control valves, actuation and controls systems
  • Possess a well-rounded knowledge in Oil & Gas Upstream (FPSO, EOR), Midstream (LNG Receiving and Storage), Downstream (Refinery & Petrochemical) and Power Generation industries
  • Strong business acumen with a good understanding of cultural nuances
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills essential
  • Positive, confident, problem solver, an achiever & a team player
  • Excellent communications skills, in both verbal and written English as this is 75% client facing role
  • Willing to travel up to 50% in SEA region
