Responsibilities:

  • Screening resumes from company hiring platforms
  • Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
  • Administering appropriate company assessments
  • Performing reference and background checks
  • Making recommendations to company hiring managers
  • Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
  • Following up on the interview process status
  • Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
  • Serving as a liaison with HR, IT, Finance and hiring managers for new employee on-board process
  • Document new hire personnel information and certificates
  • Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
  • Completing timely reports on employment activity
  • Coordinate, develop, update, and even design professional quality training and training materials. Training includes classroom training, workshop, external training and e-Learning.
  • Source training, trainer from internal and external resources
  • Monitors and evaluates trainee's progress and development by implementing an evaluation and proficiency assessment process that is consistent with company appraisal, developmental and feedback standards.
  • Develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities and regularly monitor and reports results to management, along with recommendations for improvement as appropriate.
  • Support expats for Mobility activities, including documents translation and preparation for Employment Pass application, liaison with agent for expats house hunting, schooling support etc

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in any specialization with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of HR processes and practices
  • Understanding of Employment Act and related labour laws
  • Meticulous
  • Ability to manage priorities, anticipate and be proactive
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable to challenging and changing HR environment
