Our Client is a well-established Marine and Oil & Gas industry.
Handle a Full set of Accounts (includes Fixed Assets, Month-End Closing, GST, Corporate Tax. Budgeting and Forecasting, Annual Audit, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables).
Assist in Treasury Function including cash flow management.
Financial Management, Controlling & Reporting
Costing and overhead expenses update and variance analysis.
Review the pre-published Financial results with Heads of Department.
Lead and prepare the yearly budget and forecast with Managers and team members.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting for effective business decision support.
Forecast cash flow.
Operational Finance & Accounting
Liaise with Operations and Shared Service Center.
Hedge on Foreign currency exposure and evaluate the results.
Perform annual stock count.
Liaise with external auditors in preparation for and during annual audit.
Risk Management, Governance & Control
Ensure that effective management and internal controls are in place.
Responsibility for compliance reporting and ensuring that significant risks are highlighted, assessed and responded to, in a timely manner (i.e. audit, bank reporting, Enterprise Risk Management, Control Self-Assessment, e-Tender, Group Internal Audit, Third Party Associates, etc.).
Maintain strong internal controls, reporting standards and ensure compliance with Group and Company’s accounting and reporting requirements.
Any other projects as assigned by management.
Degree in Accountancy or ACCA.
Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity, preferably from MNC environment.
Strong analytical skills and meticulous.
Proficient in MS office especially in MS Excel.
Ability to handle very detailed and manual work.
Possess good working attitude and able to work independently as well as being a proactive team member.
Assertive yet tactful with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in SAP ERP system is highly preferred.
Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
Working Location: Gul Road (Transport pick-up are provided to and from Boon Lay and Jurong East MRT).
Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays, 8am to 6pm and Fridays, 8am to 5pm.
