Opportunity Identification & Creation:

  • Conducts routine customer visits, builds strong relationships, identify new opportunities and key decision making personnel – understand customer’s needs, priorities, budgeting, buying cycles and behaviours’ through continuously driving deeper and wider into their organizations
  • Creates and manages long-term forecasts for future sales achievement, including utilization of tracking and performance measurement systems to ensure deliverables are achieved. Updates and manages Salesforce.com to keep it current and valid.
  • Drives day-to-day direct channel development and account management activities, including short and long-term planning as well as developing contingency plans as needed to proactively address and anticipate customer issues
  • Holds technical presentation to promote Valve products with utilization of available tools and represents Company at trade association meetings to promote products and services
  • Gathers market intelligence to drive improvements in sales, marketing and product development deliverables as well as to ensure market competitiveness
  • Identifies and quantifies potential new solutions for customers including product line extensions, business development opportunities, product features, channel strategies, and go-to-market processes to win

Opportunity Management:

  • Provides input and direction to inside sales engineers in the preparation of proposals including input on customer buying criteria, market dynamics, market pricing and strategy
  • Arranges internal cross-functional review meetings to ensure customers receive proper solutions
  • Clearly communicates the customer's problem being solved, timing of the solution, overall financial impact, funding situation, key buying factors, evaluation criteria, and competitive landscape of each opportunity
  • Conducts commercial contract negotiations

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree Qualified in Engineering Disciplines (Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation or Related)
  • Around 5+ years  in Oil & Gas & Power Industry applications of Control Valves like Chokes, HIPPS, steam conditioning valves, and other severe service applications
  • Strong leader and self-motivator
  • Self-confident, trustworthy, honest, open & communicative
  • Highly energetic self-starter with a strong sense of urgency in solving problems
  • Flexible, stress-tolerant and goal-oriented personality
  • Build strong relationships within customers
