RH is looking for a Contract Web Digital Asset Manager to join our Web Retouching Department. This is an on-site project-dependent contract position.



  • Helping to manage the existing and new digital assets (Photography, created imagery, and associated support assets) in our customized internal DAM application.
  • Responsible for helping to create new records, fixing existing records and for adding accurate metadata to all.
  • Responsible for helping to vet, create (or revise) the instructions for Retouchers for all JIRA system retouching requests (hundreds every year). This often involves “reconciling” files (renaming, deleting dupes, scanning, etc.) and then tagging all of the files in our database with the Jira ticket number. Tickets also often require a comparison of the layered Photoshop files against our digital reference library to determine if the correct finish reference was used, was match to correctly, if the background used was correct for the brand, etc.
  • Track the estimates and actual expenses for all Jira tickets via a Smartsheet database.
  • Liaise with several RH departments to ensure accuracy of metadata in several database portals (other than the Web Retouching portal) since we share data.
  • Helping to update, and prioritize, the database Bug and Development Enhancement Lists, and work with the Development department to make sure they understand the fixes or enhancements we need, and how they should work for the users.
  • Help to create ‘master’ value lists for the database (Collections, Finishes, etc.).



  • Minimum of five years experience using a Digital Asset Management or Image Database software application in a professional environment.
  • Minimum five years utilizing the Mac platform. Extensive knowledge of image archiving and a variety of digital file formats.
  • Intermediate level Photoshop skills (experience using layers, paths, masks and image processing tools).
  • Extensive experience working with Excel, Google Sheets and/or Smartsheets, including sorting, filtering, and formatting.
  • Experience and a thorough understanding of importing and exporting data.
  • Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate promptly, professionally and clearly in all written correspondence using correct spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an extreme attention to detail, and be able to enter data in all applications accurately.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience creating databases Experience using Jira, Lightroom, Bridge, ACDSee, MediaPro, Scene7, Creation of formulae in Excel and/or Google Sheets a plus Experience with any color management/conversion applications Creation of actions and droplets
